There is a time in everyone’s life where we struggle to understand our purpose in life; why the challenges we face are brought upon us, and in what capacity our responses to those challenges will be developed. Sometimes we struggle with questions of why? and how? and what next? It is during these times of struggle that we may become confused, frightened, and unaware of what the future may hold. For some, there are family members to hold our hands, caress our weary heads and hug the tears and concerns away. For others it may be a friend or two who assures us that our struggles will surely come and go. And sometimes we may feel truly alone.

We all need support. We need it even more during the times we struggle. For those who are visiting this website, we all understand what it means to be frustrated and confused. We strive to understand the reason behind Russell Silver Syndrome. We grapple and encourage physicians to understand the nature of the illness. We endeavor to make sense of our concerns, fears, understanding of the syndrome itself, and what lies ahead for our beautiful children. Struggle and similar circumstance is the basis by which we are brought together. It is support that will help and guide us through our battles.

Those of us who created this website realize the importance of just being there for someone else. We have learned what it means to be with, and more importantly, without, support. We understand the need for support. It is our goal to be the support for others that we all so desire to acquire during our lives as we manage our children with Russell Silver Syndrome.
